Installation and care
Use a clean smooth glass surface, spray water generously, apply the static cling film and smooth out bubbles.
Step 1
Mist the clean glass surface generously with water before applying the film. Water helps the static cling film move into position, gives you time to adjust the placement, and reduces dry spots that can cause bubbles or uneven contact.
Step 2
Place the window film onto the wet glass and gently slide it into alignment. Because there is no adhesive, you can reposition the film during installation until the pattern, edges and coverage look right for your window.
Step 3
Use a squeegee or flat edge to push out extra water and air bubbles from the center toward the edges. This step helps the film sit flatter against the glass and creates a cleaner, more finished look once the surface dries.
Step 4
After the film is fully positioned and smoothed, use a sharp utility knife to carefully trim away the extra film along the window edges. Leave a tiny gap from the frame so the film can sit flat without lifting or bunching at the border.
